How to find a Clash Royale clan in 2026: spot active clans before you join
Active Clash Royale clans with open slots reveal themselves through five signals: data freshness, donation rate, war participation, roster stability, and verification.
Why clan search in Clash Royale is frustrating
The in-game search shows you clan names and trophies — but not whether the clan will still be active in two weeks. Many players join three or four clans before finding one that truly fits. That costs time, donations, and war progress.
The five signals of an active clan
1. Data freshness
When was the listing last updated? A clan that checked its data today or yesterday is alive. "3 weeks ago" deserves caution.
2. Donation rate
Average donations per week say more about everyday activity than any self-description. 300+ donations per member per week is a strong sign.
3. War participation
How many of the four war attacks actually get played? A clan with a "4/4 required" rule and real participation wins — one with "4/4 required" on paper frustrates.
4. Roster stability
Do members come and go constantly? High churn points to internal problems. Stable clans keep their players for months.
5. Verification
A verified listing means the clan leader has proven control over the clan. That filters out dead listings and third-party entries.
Checklist before joining
Does the focus (War, Ladder, Casual) match your playstyle?
Do you meet the trophy minimum comfortably — not just barely?
Can you realistically hit the donation goal every week?
Is the contact path clear — Discord, application, or directly via clan tag?
On Recruit Royale, all of these signals are visible right in the listing — including the source, so you know whether a value comes from the API or from the clan itself.
