Writing a clan description: templates and examples that attract applicants
These Clash Royale clan description templates bring more matching applicants: clear structure, numbers instead of clichés, honest expectations.
Your clan description is your storefront
In the in-game search and on recruiting platforms, the first two lines decide whether a player keeps reading. Clichés like "Nice active clan looking for members" say nothing — numbers and clear expectations convince.
Template 1: The war clan
"4/4 war attacks required · 6,000+ trophies · EN/DE · Replay reviews on Discord · Inactive > 5 days = kick. We win wars through preparation, not luck."
Template 2: The casual clan
"Relaxed but active: 200 donations/week, war optional, no trophy pressure. Returners and climbers welcome. Friendly chat is all we ask."
Template 3: The academy clan
"Learning clan for climbers: 3,600+ trophies, deck help from experienced players, war participation encouraged but never punished. If you ask questions, you fit in."
The formula behind strong descriptions
Number before adjective: "300 donations/week" beats "very active".
One duty per sentence: Nobody remembers five rules packed into one nested sentence.
Honesty over attractiveness: Hiding pressure loses members again after two weeks.
Contact path at the end: Discord link or "apply here" — one path, clearly named.
Frequently asked questions
How long should a clan description be?
In Clash Royale itself, characters are limited — use them for your three most important rules. On Recruit Royale you also get structured fields for requirements, perks, and contact.
Should I write in English or German?
Write in the language your clan chat uses. A German clan with an English description attracts applicants nobody in the chat understands.
